Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Developer,” “Customer,” or “You”) and RealComposer (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms govern your access to and use of realcomposer.com, our developer portal, APIs, documentation, and edge execution infrastructure (collectively, the “Platform”).

By signing up for an account, accessing the Control Plane dashboard, configuring API pipelines, or dispatching HTTP requests to our edge routes, you explicitly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

RealComposer provides programmatic developer infrastructure including:

• Edge API Proxying & Routing: High-speed HTTP/REST proxying with edge termination across Cloudflare edge regions.
• Multi-API Aggregation: Concurrent dispatch to multiple upstream services (Promise.allSettled) with deterministic response merging.
• Payload Slimming: Declarative JSON path filtering to prune unneeded payload fields prior to client transmission.
• Secret Vault: AES-256-GCM encrypted credential storage with runtime-only injection into outbound upstream headers.
• Edge Caching: Configurable sub-10ms response caching via Cloudflare Cache API and KV.

To utilize the Control Plane dashboard and deploy pipelines, you must create an account via passwordless email magic link or authorized GitHub OAuth.

You are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your authentication magic links, GitHub account access, and API bearer tokens generated within your workspace.
• All activities, requests, and pipeline executions conducted under your workspace credentials.
• Immediately notifying RealComposer of any suspected unauthorized access or compromise of your workspace or Secret Vault.

You agree not to misuse the Platform or assist any third party in doing so. You expressly agree that you will not:

RealComposer acts as an edge intermediary and computational conduit. You represent and warrant that:

• You possess valid licenses, API keys, and authorization rights to query each upstream endpoint configured in your pipelines (e.g., Stripe, Supabase, OpenAI, GitHub).
• Your use of upstream APIs via RealComposer complies fully with each respective provider's developer terms, rate limits, and acceptable use policies.
• RealComposer is not responsible or liable for upstream service outages, rate limiting, token revocations, schema breaking changes, or billing by third-party providers.

Customer Ownership: As between you and RealComposer, you retain all right, title, and interest (including all patent, copyright, trade secret, and other intellectual property rights) in and to your application code, payload data, secret keys, and custom pipeline transformation schemas.

Limited Platform License: You grant RealComposer a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license strictly to route, decrypt, reshape, cache, and transmit your payloads as directed by your pipeline configurations to deliver the Service.

RealComposer Platform Rights: RealComposer retains all intellectual property rights in and to the platform runtime, web application, edge architecture, user interface, brand assets, and documentation.

To maintain high availability and prevent resource exhaustion across the edge network, RealComposer enforces standard operational quotas based on account tier:

Excessive traffic spikes exceeding plan thresholds will receive HTTP 429 (Too Many Requests) edge responses with appropriate Retry-After headers to safeguard platform stability.

RealComposer offers free community tiers and paid developer/enterprise tiers. For paid plans:

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual billing cycle.
• All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer law or as explicitly agreed in a written enterprise agreement.
• We reserve the right to revise pricing upon 30 days prior notice, which will take effect on your subsequent billing cycle.

We strive for continuous 99.99% availability for edge pipeline proxy execution. However, you acknowledge that:

From time to time, scheduled maintenance, emergency security patches, upstream cloud partner outages, or force majeure events may cause temporary unavailability. We will make reasonable commercial efforts to announce planned maintenance in advance.

We reserve the right to modify, add, or discontinue features of the Platform at any time with or without notice.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, THE REALCOMPOSER PLATFORM AND ALL ASSOCIATED SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE.

REALCOMPOSER EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT PIPELINE EXECUTION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE FROM TRANSMISSION DELAYS CAUSED BY THIRD-PARTY UPSTREAMS.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL REALCOMPOSER, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, DATA, OR USE ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PLATFORM.

IN NO EVENT SHALL REALCOMPOSER’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS (\$100.00 USD) OR THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO REALCOMPOSER IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RealComposer, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or legal fees arising out of or relating to: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any upstream API provider terms; or (c) any payload data, content, or credentials transmitted through your pipelines.

You may terminate your account at any time by closing your workspace in the dashboard.

RealComposer may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, if: (a) you breach any provision of these Terms; (b) required by law enforcement or regulatory authorities; or (c) your usage poses an immediate security or infrastructure threat to the edge network.

Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms immediately cease, and your pipeline routes will cease resolving.

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law principles.

Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the federal or state courts situated in Delaware, and each party irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at our discretion. Notice of material modifications will be provided via email or a conspicuous notice in the Control Plane dashboard at least fifteen (15) days prior to effectiveness.
